About this Position

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of a busy warehouse operation across multiple shifts. You’ll lead from the front, build strong relationships with your team, and bring energy, structure and accountability to the floor.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to run a warehouse but more importantly, someone who can lead people, lift standards and drive performance.

At the heart of what we do is our purpose: we bring people together through food and this role plays a key part in delivering that every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations across receivables, putaway, pick/pack and dispatch.
  • Manage and develop supervisors and team members across day and afternoon shifts.
  • Drive productivity, accuracy and on-time dispatch performance.
  • Take ownership of stock control, stocktakes and inventory integrity. Ensure strong safety, HACCP and compliance standards are embedded.
  • Manage rostering, labour allocation and operational costs.
  • Improve processes and bring structure to how the warehouse operates day-to-day.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven warehouse/logistics experience across end-to-end operations.
  • Strong people leadership; confident, fair and able to hold a team accountable.
  • A hands-on mindset; willing to be on the floor and lead by example.
  • Solid systems and problem-solving capability; able to investigate issues and drive outcomes.
  • The ability to build trust with the team while setting clear expectations.
  • Experience in food/FMCG or cold storage (highly regarded).

What success looks like

  • A well-run, structured operation with clear ways of working across all shifts.
  • Improved performance across productivity, accuracy, overtime and costs.
  • A more engaged and accountable team, with stronger morale and leadership on the floor.
  • Streamlined processes and better control across systems, stock and reporting.
