About this Position  

At PFD Food Services, we bring people together through food. We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual who has the drive to take on a variety of responsibilities relating to the warehousing field. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and demonstrates a customer-centric approach to help customers succeed.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Replenishing stock throughout the day as it arrives from delivery trucks
• Putting stock away accurately and ensuring it is stored in the correct system‑assigned locations
• Stock rotation to maintain product quality and compliance
• Maintaining warehouse accuracy through regular checks and updates (rack reports)
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained to support the afternoon shift picking and packing customer orders for dispatch
• Working safely in temperature‑controlled environments ranging from 4°C to –24°C
• Following OH&S, manual handling, and food safety (HACCP) requirements at all times

What You Need To Succeed

• Valid forklift licence (desirable)
• Previous experience working in cold storage environments
• Physically capable of loading and unloading containers and delivery vehicles (up to 25kg)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
