Key Responsibilities

• Lead weekend coordination of warehouse and transport shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative procedures for staff and operations.
• Oversee the accurate picking, checking, loading and delivery of customer orders.
• Manage budgeting targets, ensuring costs for wages, freight, and other expenses stay within guidelines.
• Mentor and guide staff in their career development, focusing on performance and growth.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness within the warehouse.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and according to driver/run requirements.
• Communicate regularly with Supervisors, Branch Managers, and Sales teams to align on goals and feedback.
• Lead incident and accident reporting & investigations.

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Food Service Distributions industry
• The ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders both written and verbal at all levels
• Ability to work under pressure with good time management skills
• Sound knowledge of WMS and routing systems
• Prior proven experience in people management
• A solid knowledge of HACCP and OH & S regulations
• Flexible and reliable
• Be a problem solver externally and internally
