About this Position  

This role is responsible for driving seafood sales growth across allocated regions by developing branch capability, strengthening key customer relationships, and expanding fresh seafood opportunities. Working closely with Sales Representatives and Key Account Managers, this position combines hands‑on coaching, product expertise, and strategic sales development to lift performance and ensure branches meet company targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow seafood sales across allocated regions through sales training, product education, and joint customer visits.
  • Develop and expand fresh and frozen seafood opportunities by identifying market gaps and supporting branch teams to execute.
  • Increase seafood penetration within major and key accounts by collaborating with Key Account Managers and establishing strong customer relationships.
  • Support Sales Representatives through ongoing coaching and on‑the‑job development to lift capability and performance.
  • Assist with state tenders to ensure accurate products are tendered and available as well as provide guidance with pricing.
  • Monitor branch seafood availability and sales results, responding to performance issues or opportunities where required.

 

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Strong seafood product and industry knowledge, with the ability to learn new product ranges quickly.
  • Proven sales capability, including negotiation, relationship building, and understanding of sales processes.
  • Build strong and collaborative internal and external relationships and operate in a team environment.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales teams to improve performance.
  • Adaptable communicator who can lead and support change across branches.
  • Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to work autonomously to achieve regional targets.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with internal teams and customers.
  • Full driver’s licence.
