What You’ll Do

• Lead and Inspire: Manage and coordinate night shift operations to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse functions.
• Drive Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day needs of staff and operations, ensuring all shifts run seamlessly.
• Ensure Compliance: Make sure that all team members follow company policies and legal requirements.
• Meet Targets: Stay on top of budgeting goals, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Accuracy is Key: Supervise the picking, checking, and loading of orders, ensuring they’re done with precision and care.
• Team Development: Offer ongoing mentoring and career development to staff, helping them grow and thrive in their roles.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure high housekeeping and cleanliness standards throughout the warehouse.
• Collaborate: Work closely with Supervisors, Branch Managers, and Sales teams to ensure smooth operations across the board.
• Support the Bigger Picture: Assist management with stock control, replenishment, and supply chain goals.
• Stay Organized: Complete all administrative tasks and paperwork on time, with high attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: You have a solid understanding of warehouse and distribution operations and have previous leadership experience.
• Industry Knowledge: You’re familiar with the food service distribution industry and have experience working in a cold storage environment.
• Leadership Skills: You know how to motivate, inspire, and create a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Regulatory Knowledge: You have a good understanding of HACCP and OH&S regulations.
• Multi-Tasking Pro: You’re able to juggle multiple projects, stay organized, and meet deadlines with ease.
• Reliable and Flexible: You’re dependable, adaptable, and ready to take on new challenges.
• Problem Solver: You have an analytical mind and a knack for solving problems efficiently.
• Licenses: A valid driver’s license and forklift license are essential, and an HR license would be a great bonus!
