About this Position  

Join PFD Foods' National Building & Engineering team and play a key role in supporting the maintenance, compliance, and ongoing improvement of facilities across our national network

Supporting a diverse network of warehouses and food processing facilities, you'll be responsible for coordinating maintenance programs, working closely with contractors and site teams, and helping drive projects that improve the safety, reliability, and performance of our facilities. No two days will be the same, with exposure to everything from day-to-day maintenance coordination through to larger capital improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate national building, mechanical and electrical maintenance programs
  • Manage contractor relationships and service providers across multiple sites
  • Assist with maintenance scheduling, reporting, compliance and documentation
  • Support capital works projects and facility improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and safety outcomes
  • Assist with budgeting and maintenance cost management
  • Monitor and action maintenance requests from site teams
  • Support strategies for the replacement and upgrade of ageing infrastructure and equipment.

 

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Trade background in Electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, Building Services or a similar field
  • Strong understanding of maintenance environments and contractor management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with tradespeople and stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
