About the role

This role will work closely with our branch network providing advice and implementing a range of learning initiatives designed to build capability of our employees and leaders from the first day they commence with PFD.  You will need to have a strategic focus whilst not being afraid to get your hands dirty and work with the learning and development and broader HR team to create a dynamic learning culture.  The purpose of this role is to identify and execute learning and development initiatives, at all levels within the business with the focus of building capability across the organisation.

Specific Responsibilities              

  • Deliver business strategy by providing learning and development support to achieve operational outcomes;
  • Execute the learning and development framework by taking ownership of initiatives and key streams from development through to implementation and follow up.
  • Advise managers on suitable solutions to meet specific learning and development needs;
  • Creation of e-learning, face to face and blended learning solutions using best practice and business appropriate methodology
  • Work with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify training needs through training needs analysis and provide solutions to bridge gaps in knowledge and capability.
  • Validate current training and assessment materials and programs to ensure they are fit for purpose
  • Administration support of company LMA system including but not limited to -  account management; content alignment and management;

Knowledge, skills and qualities

  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment;
  • Experience with facilitation and coaching skills;
  • Experience with stakeholder management and engagement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage business and self imposed deadlines;
  • Experience in instructional design of blended learning solutions.
  • Experience with administration of learning management systems
  • Highly organised and detail oriented;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
