About this Position  

At PFD Food Services, we bring people together through food and technology plays a key role in how our customers order, transact and do business with us every day.

We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst - Salesforce B2B Commerce to help bridge business needs and technical solutions across our Salesforce B2B Commerce and Order Management platforms. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, well-defined, and delivered in a way that creates real business value.

This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who enjoys translating complexity into clarity, shaping practical solutions, and supporting teams through design, build, test and go-live, all while keeping the customer and business outcomes front of mind.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders across multiple departments to understand needs and translate them into clear requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions to refine functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, wireframes and delivery-ready documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for optimisation and automation within Salesforce.
  • Analyse current-state data models and define field-level data mappings between legacy systems, third-party applications and Salesforce.
  • Support data migration, cleansing and deduplication activities, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Work closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers and Vendors to ensure solutions align with Salesforce best practices.
  • Support requirement prioritisation and manage scope throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Create test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against requirements.
  • Assist with change management activities, including training materials and user enablement.
  • Communicate delivery status, risks and outcomes clearly to stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce product capabilities to recommend continuous improvement opportunities.

 

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

Must-Have / Non-Negotiable Experience

  • 5-10 years’ experience in Business Analysis roles.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce functionality and delivery environments.
  • Experience across eCommerce platforms (B2B and/or B2C).
  • Extensive experience in testing, UAT and change management.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Nice to Have Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce B2B or B2C Commerce.
  • Salesforce certifications.

  • Strong alignment between business needs and technology solutions.
  • A clear understanding of B2B commerce complexity and how Salesforce supports it.
  • Successful delivery of stable, fit-for-purpose solutions aligned to business value.
  • Clarity around Salesforce capabilities, constraints and data definitions.
  • Support for go-live planning across cutover, rollback, monitoring and BAU handover.
  • Confident engagement across business domains, managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Well-supported testing and UAT processes, resulting in reliable production outcomes.
  • Comfortable working within Agile or hybrid delivery models.
