The Role

The Finance Business Partner (FBP) for Key Accounts and Supply Chain Operations will play a critical role in supporting and driving financial and operational performance within the business.

This role will involve partnering closely with commercial teams, key account managers and supply chain operations to provide insights, commercial and financial guidance and decision support to improve profitability and optimise processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering:
    • Collaborate with Key Accounts and Supply Chain teams to assess performance and provide insights for decision-making.
    • Offer financial analysis and recommendations to drive business strategy and initiatives.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for Key Accounts and Supply Chain.
    • Analyse revenue, margin, COGS, and efficiency, identifying trends for improvement.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Monitor logistics costs, inventory, and procurement to enhance efficiency.
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Commercial Support:
    • Assist Key Account managers with pricing, customer negotiations, and contracts.
    • Analyse profitability and support new business opportunities.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Deliver accurate financial reports and insights to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance and improve reporting processes.
  • Projects and Strategic Initiatives:
    • Contribute to projects enhancing supply chain and account performance.
    • Support business cases for investments, cost reductions, and pricing strategies.

 

 

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance business partnering, preferably within key accounts, supply chain, or commercial operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
