About this Position  

Based in Wollongong, NSW, this Field Sales Manager role leads customer and sales performance across the region. You’ll partner closely with a team of Sales Representatives and the local Branch to deliver state and national foodservice initiatives, build strong sales capability, and achieve sales and margin targets—while role‑modelling PFD’s values and driving clear performance accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver State and National sales initiatives and promotional activity
  • Lead, coach and develop Sales Representatives, including induction and ongoing training
  • Drive new business growth and personally manage key customer relationships
  • Oversee sales planning, call cycles and margin growth execution
  • Analyse sales and market insights, including competitor activity, to meet targets

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven field sales leadership experience in food or foodservice
  • Results‑driven leader with a strong track record against sales targets
  • Ability to coach and develop high‑performing sales teams
  • Commercially and analytically strong, with insight into market and competitor activity
  • Confident communicator with solid CRM, Excel and sales systems capability
