About the role

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team while executing strategies that deliver profitable sales growth. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring sales targets and gross profit objectives are achieved.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Representatives to achieve outstanding results.
  • Drive a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, customer engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow market share.
  • Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular field coaching and joint customer visits to support team development.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Monitor and manage sales budgets, targets, and KPIs.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven leadership experience in sales management, preferably within foodservice, FMCG, or wholesale distribution.
  • Strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and winning new customers.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-oriented with a passion for achieving growth and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable sales plans.
