About this Position  

As the Field Sales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of Sales Representatives across Albury and Shepperton, ensuring they have the tools, skills, and motivation to drive sales success. Reporting to the State Sales Manager you will oversee the region’s sales performance, implement strategic initiatives, and build strong relationships with key customers. This is a role for a hands-on leader who understands how to balance strategy with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor sales reps to enhance performance and capability, including regular one-on-one sessions.
  • Implement and execute a tactical sales plan to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including government, federal groups, and key accounts.
  • Utilise CRM and sales tools to analyse performance and develop strategies for growth.
  • Work closely with operations, admin, and suppliers to support sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Lead by example, fostering a results-driven and supportive sales environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong sales background with experience in sales leadership or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop sales teams, with a focus on achieving results.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to strategise, plan, and execute sales growth initiatives.
  • A team-oriented, down-to-earth approach, capable of engaging with frontline workers and senior executives alike.
  • The confidence to challenge, influence, and push back when needed, while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in food service or FMCG is a plus.
