What Will You Be Doing?

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the meat room, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Responsible for ordering all stock
  • Responsible for maintaining pricing daily
  • Be responsible for stocktakes and weekly inventory
  • Be responsible for delivering ebit required numbers
  • Oversee production planning and resource allocation to meet increasing demand.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of butchers to meet production targets and maintain high standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team with a strong safety and service culture.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain and customer delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, and company policies.

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Proven leadership experience in meat  processing, food manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with production planning, inventory control, and cost management.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for growth and innovation.
