What Will You Be Doing?
- Lead and manage daily operations of the meat room, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Responsible for ordering all stock
- Responsible for maintaining pricing daily
- Be responsible for stocktakes and weekly inventory
- Be responsible for delivering ebit required numbers
- Oversee production planning and resource allocation to meet increasing demand.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of butchers to meet production targets and maintain high standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, and productivity.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team with a strong safety and service culture.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain and customer delivery.
- Maintain compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, and company policies.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proven leadership experience in meat processing, food manufacturing, or FMCG environments.
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and operational efficiency.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with production planning, inventory control, and cost management.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for growth and innovation.
